Privacy Policy — Social Support Triage

This privacy policy describes how Chefman, a brand of RJ Brands, LLC ("we", "us") handles information in connection with our internal Social Support Triage application (the "Tool"), which we use to respond to customer support inquiries left on our own Chefman and Chef iQ Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts.

What the Tool does

The Tool is used only by our customer support team. On a daily schedule it reads recent comments and direct messages on our own Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts, identifies which ones are customer-support requests, and emails our support staff a summary so we can respond promptly. The Tool is read-only: it does not post, reply, or take any action on anyone's behalf.

Information we process

  • Public comments left on our own Facebook/Instagram posts, and direct messages sent to our Facebook/Instagram accounts.
  • For each item: the message text, the author's name or username, the time it was sent, and a link back to the comment or conversation.

We only process content directed at our own accounts. We do not collect data about people who have not interacted with our accounts.

How we use the information

  • To classify whether a message is a customer-support request and to compile an internal digest for our support team so we can reply and resolve issues faster.
  • Message text is sent to a third-party AI service (Google's Gemini API) solely to perform that classification. It is not used to build advertising profiles.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share it with third parties except: the AI classification service described above, used only to categorize messages; and service providers that host or transmit the internal digest (e.g., our email provider).

Data retention

The Tool keeps no standing database. Data is processed transiently during each run and appears only in the internal email digest, which is retained according to our normal business email retention practices.

Your choices

Comments and messages you send to our public accounts are governed by the Facebook and Instagram terms and privacy policies. If you would like us to delete a support message you sent us, or have questions about this policy, contact us at the address below and we will respond.
